If You Want To Be Successful in Anything, Stop Following Others — Create Your Own Path (Must Hear This!)

As a Young hustler my self for over 2 years now as a 21 year old, I’ve written this post from the bottom of my heart today 4th July 2025 at 1 A.M Late Nights, Please pay attention and Read this…

I’ve tried copying what everyone was doing multiple times and guess what….it didn’t work for me and I came in to a realization that “FOLLOWING THE CROWD IS ALWAYS WRONG” Most of people hate there current Jobs because they tried to copy someone who is successfull in that job in spite of them not interested in the field.

Imagine taking a car where there are two roads and everyone is copying the other cars to pass the same road.. Don’t you think there will be a traffic jam?

Most of people might term their success is finding a Better JOB as an example, which might be completely different from someone thinking of starting his own company or Business oneday. everyone has his/her own version of success. everyone is unique in his own.

I know we all want to make it, We all want to be successful
But somewhere along the way, most of us start believing that the fastest way there… is to follow the ones who’ve already made it

We watch their YouTube videos, We mimic their habits, We chase their routines and without even realizing it… we lose our own voice

1. The Illusion of Their Highlight Reel

Social media shows you the destination but hides the journey.

You see someone with the house, the car, the freedom, the clout — and your brain screams,
 “That must be the way!”

But you never see their nights crying alone.
You never see the burnouts, the fights, the loneliness, the therapy.
You just see a finished product and assume their path must be perfect.

“Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes with someone else’s highlight reel.”

— Steve Furtick

You weren’t made to imitate.
 You were made to create.

2. Real Success Is Personal (People who make it Already)

Look at people who truly changed the world.

Look at Elon Musk didn’t follow how car companies were built.

Look at Oprah didn’t follow the traditional path of news anchors.

Look at Tyler Perry was homeless before creating an empire built off his unique voice.

Look at YouTubers like MrBeast didn’t follow trends — they obsessed over what made them different.

They succeeded not because they copied someone else…
They succeeded because they stayed loyal to their own madness.

3. The Pain of Copying

What they don’t tell you is that trying to be someone else is exhausting.
 You’re constantly editing yourself.
You’re always wondering if you’re “doing it right.”

Until one day you look in the mirror and realize:
You’ve built something that’s “successful” but it doesn’t even feel like you

And what’s the point of success if you’re a stranger to yourself?

4. You Were Meant to Walk Alone

There is no map to where you’re going.
 And that’s the point.

You weren’t made to follow footsteps, you were made to leave them.

“Your path is beautiful and unique to everyone else, as you are in the same place but with a different mindset.”

— Mohamed Sinani

In this quote of mine what I meant was “Your path is beautiful and unique. You may be in the same place as others, but your mindset sets you apart. For example, I am in college like many others, but my goals, ambitions, and the challenges I face are different. Even though we share the same environment, my mindset makes my journey unique.” I chose not to copy what others are doing with there life.

Take advice, yes, Learn from people, yes.
But never abandon your inner voice just because it doesn’t sound like theirs.

5. Your Story Matters

Someone out there is waiting to be inspired by the story you are scared to live.

So go. Be misunderstood, Be underestimated.
 Be real.

Walk through the unknown, Make mistakes, Get lost, And find yourself.

Because the truth is…

Their path wasn’t made for your feet.
And your greatness can’t be reached by walking in anyone else’s shoes.

Well everybuddy I hope I opened someone’s eyes today…
I wish you all the best of LUCK and Thanks for reading my post.
